Sex Toy Review - Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation
It’s not your regular vibrator, it uses pulses of air to stimulate the clitoris.

Sex toys; the market range is ever increasing as the demand for pleasure grows. Where do you start in an online marketplace full of pushy advertising and cheap products that you haven’t a clue whether to trust? Will it break within the first or second use, is it safe, will it even give me an orgasm?
As a sensual massage therapist, I often get asked for recommendations for enjoyment between treatments and am always on the lookout for new and exciting toys to bring into sessions, so I’m not a newbie to sex toys. This is however, my first written review of a toy from my own personal experiences using it solo, and with my partner and I’m going to start off with a bang.
I’m starting with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation, bought from Jo Divine - high quality online adult products retailer. This little gem has been around for a little while by now and I am in no way the first person to review it but all comments I’ve seen have been incredibly complimentary.
“I orgasmed within two minutes of my partner using this toy on me for the first time.”
I was sceptical at first but this product quickly became by far my favourite sex toy with a 100% orgasm success rate, and that really is big applause as I am difficult. I have situational anorgasmia – which I will write about separately and you can find an article with a little on my issues surround it in a well known erm *cough newspaper* if you were to Google it or search my blogs – but briefly, I find it a struggle to reach climax in certain situations like with a new partner, after a few drinks, if I’m anxious about something or distracted. I orgasmed within two minutes of my partner using this toy on me for the first time.
Let’s get into the details and talk about what makes this toy so special.
First of all, it’s not your regular vibrator, it uses pulses of air to stimulate the clitoris. The lovely soft skin safe silicone tip is put over the clitoris and you’ll hear when it’s formed a seal as it will be quieter. It doesn’t need to be pressed on hard, light contact is fine as long as it makes that seal. From then, it is just bliss.
It starts out at a nice gentle level, teasing, you can simply hold it in place and let it do its thing, don’t rush yourself and use the plus and minus controls to bring yourself up and down. It begins to feel like a gentle tapping on the clitoris.
Secondly, it is actually waterproof. Many products on sale are mislabelled or ambiguous in that they are only water resistant, the Pro 2 NG is completely submergible as water cannot get inside. Use lubricant or play with it in the bath…. trust me!
The main bonus for me is that it is just an external stimulator. With a few health conditions, I don’t always want sex or vaginal toys that you have to faff with inserting and then thrusting at that funny arm angle. I get tired easily, so the low amounts of energy or effort needed to use the Pro 2 are perfect. It’s also ideal for people who suffer with vaginismus or various other concerns that mean insertion/penetration isn’t an option but don’t want the desensitising vibration of many other toys.
I was first introduced to Satisfyer at a massage workshop, I believe they had a previous version where you could only scroll up through the settings so it seems Satisfyer have made some much needed alterations. The buttons are a nice size if not a little stiff to push and are situated in an ergonomic position on top of the handle. The product is a nice weight, it’s not overly heavy but it’s certainly not light and cheap feeling.
After the workshop, I was intrigued and went online to Jo Divine to buy one, it arrived in a lovely high quality box, a very sensuous look to it and includes its own magnetic charger that plugs into USB sockets. The Satisfyer Pro 2 NG has 11 ‘speed’ settings, each push on the + button takes it up a setting, I’ll be honest, I’ve never used the top few settings as I’ve usually finished play by the time I would have switched up to them.
The first proper use was with my partner in control of the Satisfyer, we started on setting one and he laid his head on my chest whilst positioning the silicone head on the clitoris, slightly parting the labia and he just held it there, it took a couple of seconds but I was having waves of pleasure almost immediately. He gave it a minute or so before turning up to setting two and I was over the edge. It was one of the most intense, powerful orgasms I have experienced, and being able to experience that with my partner made it emotional too. Using this toy was the first time I’ve been able to orgasm lying on my back in front of someone else, it was life changing.
As you can imagine, that was just the start, every possible opportunity was utilised to have fun with this amazing toy both solo and together. I’d suggest enjoying teasing and edging yourself by turning the setting down just before the point of no return. You can play with pressure; either holding it onto the vulva lightly or pushing on harder to rub against the clitoris, with it sealed onto the skin, you can move it in small circles over the area. I find that my clitoris is extra sensitive after climax with the Satisfyer and I have to remove it as soon as I orgasm and have to use the layering technique if I want to go for round two.
”The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation isn’t a particularly cheap product but it’s completely worth the investment.”
Due to the shape and nature of the toy, we’ve found it difficult to use alongside penetrative sex, it’s great when staying in one position but movement of one partner can push it out of place losing the seal. It is nice to use together but due to the nature of the Satisfyer only needing to sit in place, it isn’t the best toy if you want to really have some fun playing together, your partner won’t be particularly involved other than being in control of the speed settings and cuddles.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation isn’t a particularly cheap product but it’s completely worth the investment. As it’s been on the market for a while now, the price has decreased a little, I would absolutely recommend saving some cash and getting yourself one or two decent toys rather than a few low quality items.
If you have a clitoris, you owe yourself this pleasure; if your partner has one, they will thank you for years to come for this gift.
