Re-opening of face to face appointments
Hello lovely clients,
We hope you’re all getting through this still very difficult period and are looking forward to a sense of new normality in the near future.
Many of you have been in touch to ask when we may be re-opening which is great to know you’re wanting to come back to see us.
We’re keen to get business back up and running again but we’re afraid it isn’t going to be soon and it isn’t going to be easy. It is currently illegal for hands on services like ourselves to be offering face to face appointments and we haven’t been included in the sector that is allowed to reopen on July 4th. We have also made the decision that we may not be allowing clients into our home and treatment room until around a month after we are legally allowed to. This is to see how other businesses fare regarding infection rates, to keep you safe and mainly to keep Amy safe as she is immuno-compromised and classed as clinically extremely vulnerable and has been shielding for the last three months.
We may start allowing people that have developed antibodies against the virus if they show medical proof once legal, but for people without this - please do not ask to come in, your massage is not more important than Amy’s life.
So, going forwards, we will have to put some new procedures in place to ensure our home and treatment room is even cleaner and virus free. This may change as we go along.
We may start by only offering hands free, no physical contact appointments, self massage, genital/intimate workshops.
No mask, no treatment.
We will reduce contact time so we head straight into the treatment rather than a consultation chat beforehand.
The toilet will be available for use but showers will be at extra cost because of cleaning between clients.
We will open the door and turn on the tap for you to wash your hands on arrival.
Only one client every other day and then moving to one a day to give us time to thoroughly clean the room, door handles, carpets etc and for droplets on surfaces we may have missed to not be infectious.
Once we return to hands on, all genital bodywork will be with gloves on.
We realise this may not protect us or you completely from infection but we will try to reduce the risk as much as we can. If there’s anything else you’d like us to put in place for your treatment, please do let us know.
We are still offering phone and video appointments for now, current clients can use your online login to book a distance treatment.
Looking forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future!
Amy & Mike
